So Shabby Pink - We Have New Sparkles

We are always looking around for great things to add to our basic accessories embellished with our pretty roses. I seem to be attracted to things that are a little unusual and things that shine and twinkle. This has led to our newest category:

"Sparkles"

We have been finding some beautiful vintage jewelry and redesigning with them. One of our first designs is this small wall hanging. It is best placed in an area with good lighting so the rhinestones will shine and sparkle. The next one is going to be PINK!

We include information on how to care for your SSP Sparkle Rhinestone product when you purchase. You can accidently darken them if you clean them incorrectly.

We will always carry our one of a kind rose studded items. Pink is our favorite color!

Thanks for coming by. It's always appreciated.

Have a good weekend,

So Shabby Pink - Don't Take Our Freedom for Granted

I hope all have an enjoyable Memorial Day weekend. I also hope you will remember those who have died to keep our country free. Let's don't take that freedom for granted.

I literally searched youtube.com for hours to find the perfect video for what I wanted to express. Lee Greenwood's words and the pictures in this one were perfect.

I love America and am so grateful I can live in this free country.

So Shabby Pink - New Header Wall Plaque

Hi there. I finished up a new wall plaque today. I am going to be consulting with my husband to see if he can make a curved template similar to this shape. I like it. It's kind of a softer look. This will make the website soon.
Thanks for stopping by,

Very Shabby Chic So Shabby Pink New Items

I am finishing up some new things today.

We are making some new signs made from our old fence. We had a huge storm that blew down part of our cedar fence last summer and my husband has kept it and cut it up for me. It is weathered and very rustic.

This rustic sign is roughly striped with our pretty pink roses. It is also ready to hang with a nice wire hanger tied with a bow to top. I am striving for the beach weathered look - like it's been blown with salt spattered wind and sand.

There is a knot hole in the upper right corner. To keep it....not to keep it....that is the question....toying with doilies....We hope you will come to our website http://www.soshabbypink.com/ and see what we end up doing with that. I may just leave it in it's natural rustic state.

Thanks for coming to see us today. We will be back soon!

Shabby Chic Style Lampshade Covers for So Shabby Pink

Hi there!
Did I show you these adorable vintage reproduction hankies made into lampshade covers? I plan to make some out of regular fabrics I've collected too. I just love fabric. You just don't have to have a purpose sometimes when you see one you really love. You just know you have to have it. The fabric itself will provide the inspiration.
Hope you like the hanky lampshades.
Use 60 watts lightbulb or less.

I made this one from some lovely fabric I bought locally. I added some pretty lace to make it really feminine.
I will be posting more soon! Hope all are doing well.
